  	Ingham News, Cairns Post Thursday 5 Jun 1947, pg 7 Obituary Death claimed two old residents of Ingham on Friday within a few hours of each other. Mrs. Mary Hood (77) passed away quietly at her home on Friday morning and although she had been in feeble health for some time she was about as usual in the morning and spoke to her daughter quite cheerfully a few moments before she passed away after retiring to her room. She was one of the early residents of Ingham and was the daughter of Mr. W. Boyle, who brought the first cattle over the range from Cardwell to the Herbert district.
