  	Lacombe woman, 76, buried Funeral services were held recently for a resident of Central Alberta since 1912. Mrs. Mary (Kanngiesser) Gibson of Lacombe, formerly of Rocky Mountain House, died July 15 in the Lacombe General Hospital. She was 76. Mrs. Gibson was bom July 30, 1898 in Islay, Scotland, coming to Blindman River district in 1912. She received her high school education in Red Deer and her normal school training in Camrose. Mrs. Gibson taught school in the Red Deer and Lacombe districts for about seven years. From 1928-1931 she worked as a hairdresser in her own business. Mrs. Gibson married Fred Kanngiesser in 1931 and lived in Lacombe until 1972. when she married Andrew Gibson and moved to Rocky Mountain' House. She returned to Lacombe three months ago. Mrs. Gibson is survived by her second husband Andrew of Lacombe, formerly of Rocky; two daughters, Mrs. Don (Kay) Jackson of Brampton, Ont. and Mrs. Major H. (Mary Lou) Johansen of Greenwood, N.S.; a son, Bob Kanngiesser of North Vancouver, B.C.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Janete (Gibson) Pusztai of Rocky; and seven grandchildren. She was predeceased by her first husband Fred, Jan. 5, 1970. Dr. B. H. Thackeray officiated at funeral services from the Fenton and Kirkman Funeral Chapel in Lacombe.
