  	Blair - On Friday morning, Jan. 27, death claimed Miss Janet Blair, a well-known resident of Drummond township. She had been a patient sufferer having for the space of forty one years been greatly afflicted with rheumatism. During the last six weeks of her life she was confined to her bed with heart trouble. The funeral took place from the home of her brother, James, in Drummond, on Sunday afternoon to Prestonvale cemetery. Rev. T.J.S. Ferguson, Presbyterian minister, conducted the religious services and a large number of friends attended the obsequies. During the years of suffering she bore her cross bravely and was always giving her best to brighten and comfort the lives of those around her. She lovingly did the works of her Master with faithfulness and trust, and gladly went to meet her Saviour when called Home. She is survived by her sister Rebecca, Mrs. M. Aikenhead, of Almonte; and seven brothers - Robert at Swan Lake, Man.; James on the homestead in Drummond; Jno. at Tacoma, Wash.; Walter at Winnipeg, Man.; Samuel at Duluth, Minn.; George at St Brieux, Sask., and William At Ashland, Wis.
