  	Blair Our Brooke correspondent writes: Death visited our neighborhood when Mrs. Neil Blair, wife of our popular merchant, passed to her eternal reward. Deceased had been in her usual health until about two months ago when she was taken ill. She recovered somewhat but about three weeks ago was suddenly stricken down again andlingered until Saturday. Deceased maiden name was Miss Annie J. Ballantyne, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs Francis Ballantyne, of Smith's Falls. About nie years ago she was married to Mr. Blair, who, with three children is left to mourn the loss of a devoted wife and mother. The funeral took place to the Union Cemetery, Brook, on Sunday. The services were conducted by Rev. mr Greig, of Calvin Church. Much sympathy is felt for Mr. Blair and sorrowing friends in their sore bereavement. Among those who attend the funeral from a distance were Mr. Frank Willis, Toronto, mr. Barnes, Smiths Falls, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Blair, Lavant Station. The Perth Courier 23 Jun 1905
