  	Enid (Challen) Gilbert Vic 4T3, in Sarnia, Ont., April 19, 2009. On April 19, 2009, with her daughters by her side at Bluewater Health Norman Street Site in Sarnia, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Jeffrey Francis (Tup) Gilbert (1981). Dear mother of Anne (Bob) Anderson, Fran (Garry) Graham and Jean (Bob) MacIntyre. Loving grandmother of Tammy, Jeffrey and Becky Anderson; Jonathan, Andrew (Keri) and Alicia (Michael O'Brien) Graham; and Ryan, Heather and Robbie MacIntyre. A special great-grandmother of Tyler, Katie and Jaiden. A graduate of the University of Toronto, Enid was an original employee of Dow Polymer where she worked as a chemist. In recent years, she has been an active member of the University Women's Club as well as a volunteer for the Cancer Society, Lambton Wildlife, Humane Society and Meals on Wheels. Enid was an avid world traveler with many unique trips, usually off the beaten path. She is remembered by her family for her intellect and interest in world events, as well as her incredible determination and independence. In accordance with Enid's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. Cremation has taken place. Burial will be arranged at a future date in Perth, Ontario. A reception will be held at Enid's home on Saturday, April 25, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. for friends and family. In keeping with Enid's interest and concerns for the environment and wildlife, donations may be made in her memory to the Sarnia Humane Society or World Wildlife Federation.
