  	Obituary - The Ottawa Citizen - April 17,2004 - VASS, Elsie L. Peacefully at Perth Community Care Centre, Perth on Thursday, April 15th, 2004, Elsie L. (McVeety) Vass in her 93rd year. Wife of the late John Vass and by former marriage, the late Paul Duffy. Daughter of the late James and Jane (Wood) McVeety and sister of the late Dorothy Hanna and Simon McVeety. Elsie will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth, on Friday, April 16th, 2004 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 1 to 2:15 p.m. followed by funeral service in the Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Interment Rideau Ferry Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB) or The Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
