  Married: On Friday, June 20th, Rev. D.D. and Mrs Elliott entertained a number of friends at their home, 13 Gore St., it being the 20th anniversary of their marriage. The gathering was also in honour of Mrs. Elliott's father, Mr. John Bowes who that same day celebrated his 80th birthday. Friends were present from Perth, Lanark and Mrs Elliott's cousin, Miss H.E.
