  Married: Parks - McDonald The beautiful new home of Mr and Mrs Hugh McDonald of Dalhousie was the scene of an interesting even on Wednesday afternoon, June 18th, when their eldest daughter, Hazel, was united in marriage to Mr. John S. Parks of Maberly. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a dainty gown of white satin with silk fringe and silver beading. She wore also the groom's gift, a gold and diamond pendant. Rev A.M. Little, B.A., tied the nuptial knot in the presence of about seventy guests. There were  no attendants. After the marriage service the company repaired to the dining room where tables were spreaad and prettily decorated for the wedding feast. A toast to the bride was proposed and responded to by the the groom and Mr. McDonald. The bride was the recipient of many useful and valuable gifts, one of them being a handsome cheque from her uncle, Mr. H. McCulloch of Penticton, B.C.
