  Married: MR. HAL BURNS WEDS MISS IRMA STEWART A wedding ceremony of unusual Interest was solemnised this morning at the chapel of the Ottawa University, at half past seven o'clock when Mr. Harold (Hal) J. Burns, son of the late Michael Burns and of Mrs. Mary Burns of MacLaren street, was united In marriage with Miss Irma Stewart, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Starr Stewart of Carleton Place, Ont The groom Is a prominent young lawyer of Ottawa, a member of the firm of Gauvreau and Burns. The young couple had wished to keep this ceremony a private event and outside of the near relatives and a few more intimate friends, none knew that a marriage was to have been today. Rev. Father E. J. Cornell, O.M.I., parish priest of St. Joseph's Church officiated. The couple were unattended, excepting for the special witnesses, Miss Myrtle Burns, a sister of the groom, and Mr. Alex. Seed, a brother-in-law. The couple have left on motor trip to Toronto and Western Ontario and on their return to Ottawa, Mr, and Mrs. Burns will take up residence at 822 Frank street.
