  Married: Murphy-Barnett Mr. and Mrs. James Murphy announce the engagement of their daughter Mary Edna to George Harold Barnett of Sudbury, Ontario, son of Mrs. and the late Mr. Robert Barnett, of Sudbury, Ont., son of Mrs. and thelate Robert Burnett, of Ottawa. The Ottawa Journal Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Saturday, June 1, 1935 pg. 30 Barnett-Murphy The marriage wa quietly solemnized in St. Patrick's church at half past ten o'clock yesterday morning, of Miss Mary Edna Murphy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Murphy and Mr. George Harold Barnett, of' Sudbury, son of Mrs. Barnett and the late Mr. Robert Barnett, of Ottawa. Rev. Father Radley officiated. Given in marriage by her father,the bride was attended by her sister, Miss Irene Murphy, while Mr Walter Murphy, brother of the bride. attended the groom. Attractive was the bride in a pale blue ensemble with a white hat and she wore a spray of gardenias. The bridesmaid was wearing a navy blue crepe costume with a hat of a light shade of blue and her corsage bouquet was of pink roses. Immediately following the ceremony, Mr Barnett and his bride left on a wedding trip and will later take up residence in Sudbury.
