    says Mary McLean died April 8, 1922 in North Elmsley Township. She died at lot 22, concession 8 of North Elmsley. Mary was a widow at the time of her death. Mary was born in North Elmsley on December 24, 1844, the daughter of Thomas Wilson and Ann Beckett. She was of Irish origin, her father being born in Ireland. She died of cancer of the stomach contributed by old age. She was under the care of Dr. W. A. Meighen of Perth from March 1, 1922 to April 8, 1922. The informant of her death was her son, Chas. McLean, of Perth. The undertaker in charge of her funeral was Blair, from Perth. She was buried at Rideau Ferry on April 10, 1922.

    Mary married William Richard McLean about 1865.
