" Reginald B. Smith Retired Dairy Farmer. Canton. Reginald Bush Smith, 88, of 318 Hawthorne Blvd., Leesburg, Fla., formerly of 16 Pine St., died Sunday at his home.
"Mr. Smith was a dairy farmer on River Road, Old DeKalb, for many years. He moved to Leesburg from Canton in 1985.
"He was a member of Richville Masonic Lodge 633 for 67 years and Hawthorne Chorus and Hawthorne Orchestra, both in Leesburg, and attended Morrison United Methodist Church, Leesburg.
"Born Jan. 5, 1909, at Hermon, son of Edward and Mary Bush Smith, he graduated from Richville Union School.
"He married Betty Jane Best on April 25, 1943, at her parents' home in Richville with the Rev. Edward J.W. Burston, then pastor of the United Church of Richville, officiating.
"Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Chandler, Leesburg, and Rodney, Martinez, Ga.; two daughters, Mary Bare, Xenia, Ohio, and Martha Vining, Fletcher, N.C.; a sister, Marjorie Fuller, Richville; and six grandchildren.
"The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Morrison United Methodist Church. Arrangements are with Beyers Funeral Home, Leesburg.
"Donations may be made to the Hawthorne Memorial Fund, Leesburg."
