    His obituary appeared on 6 Sep 1959 in the Advance-News in Ogdensburg, St. Lawrence, New York, as follows:
    "Rector's Wife Was City Girl. Rev. Robert Clyde Joudry, who died Friday at Whitehall, N. Y., at 64, was rector of Trinity Episcopal church, Gouverneur, for over 10 years. He resigned there in February, 1952.

    "A native of Boston, Mass., Rev. Mr. Joudry was graduated from Colby College, Waterville, Me., in 1916, and from Episcopal Theological school, Cambridge, Mass., in 1919. At Colby, he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

    "He then went to Ogdensburg as curate of St. John's Episcopal church under the late D. C. White, rector. In 1926, he became pastor at Schenevus, near Oneonta, and in 1929 moved to Sharon Springs. He was in charge of Trinity Episcopal church there until he went to Gouverneur in November, 1942. He was also in charge of Ascension church in Fine and St. Augustine's in Hermon.

    "In 1925, Rev. Mr. Joudry married Miss Hazel Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Miller, Ogdensburg with Rev. Mr. White officiating. They had four daughters, Mrs. George K. (Hazel [sic]) Gardner, Miss Rita J. Joudry, and Kathleen R. and Janet B., and one son, Kermit W. Joudry.
