Her obituary appeared on 7 May 1967 in teh Ogdensburg Journal in Ogdensburg, St. Lawrence, New York, as follows: "Mrs. Tillie Miller Died Wednesday At Age Of 82. Hammond -- Mrs. Tillie Cole Miller, 82, of Hammond, widow of Frank Miller, died at the Cedars Nursing Home, Riverside Drive, Ogdensburg, at 9 p.m., Wednesday (May 3, 1967). She had been a patient at the nursing home for several months.
"The funeral was Friday at 2 p.m. at the Fox Funeral Home her. The Rev. Adele B. Spencer, pastor of the Theresa Presbyterian Church, officiated. Burial was in Fine View Cemetery here.
"Surviving Mrs. Miller are two step-daughters, Mrs. Roy McMartin of Ogdensburg and Mrs. Hazel Joudry of Atlanta, Ga.;
