    It is with deep sadness that her daughters announce her peaceful passing on December 6, 2013. Helena "Lena" Kuzak was born on October 15, 1919 in Welland, Ontario, the only child of Marie Geroux and John Kuzak. She was predeceased by her husband William Martin (1916 - 1991) and her son William Martin (1945 - 1995). Beloved and loving mother of Joan Deschamps , Marelene Baird, Karen Braithwaite (Edmund) and Betty Anne Dodds (Stephen). Loving grandmother of Denise Rosenblath (Dale), Yvonne Rosien (Wayne), Tyre Deschamps, Robert Baird (Debbie), Katherine Baird, Kenneth Baird (Jananne), Michael Braithwaite (Dawn), Jennette MacDonald, Christopher Braithwaite (Rebecca) and Jennifer Richardson. Great grandmother to 26, great-great grandmother to 16 and great-great-great grandmother to 2. Lena was a warm, gentle, loving, giving and forgiving woman who will be greatly missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
