    Pam Johnson, 70, of Howland, passed away peacefully at 10:02 a.m., Dec. 28, 2018, with her family at her side, under the comforting care of Hospice.
    Pam was born Aug. 24, 1948, in Warren, a daughter to the late Kenneth and Gloria Goff Walker, and was a lifelong area resident.
    A graduate of Howland High School, Pam was employed with Community Bus Service for 10 years as a bus aide and driver.
    Fond memories of Pam will be carried on by her children, Tracey (Jack) Kelsh, Seana Popa and Jeremey Johnson, with whom she made her home; two brothers Douglas (Diane) Walker of Howland and Robert (Wanda) Walker of Georgia; two sisters Deborah Wells of Cortland and Terri (Tom) Woodrum of Howland: five grandchildren, Michael(Felicia)Zickefoose, Dylan and Cherish Kelsh, and Jayce and Devon Johnson.
    Besides her parents, Pam was preceded in death on Feb.4,2004,by her husband Gordan Johnson, whom she married on June 20, 1981.
    A celebration of Pam's life will be held at a later date with inurnment to take place in Howland Township Cemetery

    Kenneth William Walker,66, died of kidney failure on August 1, 1991. Kenneth was born on April 11, 1925 in Cadogen, Pennsylvania, the son of Gertrude Thelma Grafton. Later the stepson of Ralph Grafton.
    He was a 1942 graduate of Kittanning (Pa) High School and had attended Youngstown,College.
    A resident here for 40 years coming from Youngstown, Kenneth was a Howland Township policeman from 1965 to 1973. In 1985,he retired as a general foreman from Commercial Intertech in Youngstown after 35 years of service.
    He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II. He was in the second wave onto Iwo Jima.
    He was a Howland Township volunteer fireman and a member of Sincerity Lodge, Niles. He enjoyed golf and fishing.
    Survivors include his wife Gloria G. Goff Walker, whom he married on October 24, 1947; three daughters Mrs. Gordon (Pamela J) and Mrs. Thomas (Terri B) Woodrum of Howland and Mrs. DeWayne (Deborah L) Wells of Lordstown; two sons Douglas W of Howland, and Robert E of Columbus: three sisters Mrs. Harold (Virginia) Shaffer of Mount Nebo, Pa., Mrs. Larry ( Sarah A) Crytzer of Kittanning,Pa., and Mrs. Donald (Leona) Calhoun of Worthington, Pa.; four brothers, Ralph Grafton of Champion Township, Lincoln Grafton of Adrian, Pa., Paul Grafton of Worthington, Pa., and Charles Grafton of Troy, Mich.; 14 grandchidren and one great-grandson. Four brothers preceded him in death Walter, Melvin, Jimmy and Everett Grafton.

    Kenneth never knew who his birth father was. He was raised by his grandparents Joseph Hamilton and Onie Belle (Bowser) Walker. In 2017 his daughter, Terri did a DNA test on Ancestry.com and was able to find out who his birth father was. George Richard Vaughn.

    Gloria Glenora Goff Walker, 84, died June 24, 2013, at Hospice House Poland.
    She was born February 4, 1929 in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of Jerry M Goff and Frances Baldwin Goff.
    Gloria enjoyed traveling and her many friends.
    Memories of Gloria will be carried on by daughters Pam Johnson of Howland, Deborah (DeWayne) Wells of Cortland and Terri (Tom) Woodrum of Howland; sons Douglas Walker of Howland and Robert (Wanda) Walker of Cumming, Georgia; her sisters-in-law Joyce Goff of Minneapolis and Violet Goff of Southington;; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Walker on August 1, 1991, whom she married on Ocotber 24, 1947; Her son-in-law, Gordon Johnson: and brothers Jerry and Harold "Bud" Goff.
