    NEWELL Patricia passed away peacefully on September 7th, 2004 at 5th floor in the Eric Martin Pavilion extended care. She was bom in Salmon Arm, BC on October 9th, 1915. She was predeceased by her husband, Howard Kingsley Newell in 1983. They had been married for 46 years. Patricia is survived by 5 children Richard, (Louise), Gordon (Irene), Sylvia (Robert), Irene (Dave) David (Brigitte), 11 Grandchildren Bradley, Paul, Keith, Susan Dean, Denise Sharon, Karen Stephen, Geoffrey Jean, and 2 new Great-grandchildren, Dana Hannah and 2 Step great-grandchildren Steven Kaitlin.

    She was the centre or our family and an inspiration to all. She was a long time member of the ACW at St. Mary's Church in Oak Bay. This was where she made many wonderful friends over the years being involved in bazaars and the Caledonian Market. The ladies in this particular group still meet for a luncheon on occasion.

    Patricia enjoyed life to the fullest with her love of family friends. She has resided over 60 years in the same home on Byron Street. A memorial service to he held on Tuesday, September 14th at 10:00 am at First Memorial Funeral Services 4725 Falaise Drive. In lieu of flowers donations gratefully accepted to the Heart Stroke Foundation or to the charity of your choice. 4 FIRST MEMORIAL FUNERAL SERVICES 658-5244.

    The bride, who was given In marriage by her sister, Miss Louise Moule of Victoria, wore with a grey travelling suit and bouquet of pink rosebuds. Miss Kathleen Fltz-James of Colwood and Mr. Donald Newell attended the bride and groom. After the reception at the home of the groom's parents, the bride and groom left for a short trip, following which they will make their home In Victoria.
