Newberg, devoted mother of Kaye Brower and her husband Ted, and John Newburg and his wife Ginny, loving grandmother of Anne Lozier and her husband Mark, David Brower and his wife Lynn, James and Ted Brower, dear great-great-grandmother of Ben, Dan, Luke, Sarah, Abe, Abbie, Elizabeth, Caleb and Zoe, loving sister of Wayne Gilmore and his wife Cam.

    Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Schimunek Funeral Home. 9705 Belair road (Perry Hall), on Thursday from 7 to 9 P.M. and Friday, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. A Funeral Service will be held in Perry Hall Baptist Church on Saturday at 10 A.M. Interment Moreland Memorial Park.

    Robert Miller Gilmour
    On February 28th Robert Miller Gilmour passed away. His last illness followed years of suffering which he bore with unfailing patience and courage.

    The deceased was born in West Glover January 17th, 1873. In 1905 he bought a farm in Barton north of the village which he called "The Pines". He married Lillian Campbell of Albayn on October 9, 1907, at Morrisville. For many years - until ill health caused him to move to his late home - he was a successful farmer. He was a trustee of Barton village for fourteen years. His resignation from office in 1936 was occasioned by failing health He was a member of Orleans Lodge, No. 55, F & AM, and Orient Chapter, No. 13, O.E.S.

    He loved his family, his home, the town and people in it. To them he gave his best in faithful service and never ending loyalty.

    His wife, Lillian Gilmour, and two children, Elizabeth and Wayne; one sister, Mrs J. P, Urie; his aunt, Mrs. Marion Nelson; and two half-brothers, David, of Wolcott, and James Gilmour of Waterbury mourn his loss.

    Robert married Lillian Delia Campbell on 16 Oct 1907 in Barton, Orleans County, Vermont, United States.     Elizabeth D. Gilmour.

    Mrs. Elizabeth D. Gilmour passed away Saturday, Sept. 20, at the home of her son, R. M. Gilmour, after an illness of several months. The deceased was born in Cumbernauld, Scotland, July 8, 1848, and was the widow of the late Arthur Gilmour of Glover.

    She had lived in Barton nearly 25 years and was a woman of sterling character and had many friends here and in Glover, her former home. Three children survive her, Elizabeth, who is Mrs. John P. Urie, and Robert M. Gilmour of this place, and Mary, who is Mrs. Selden E. Cass of Chelmsford, five grandchildren and one great grandchild; a sister, Mrs. Marion Nelson of Barton, and two brothers, William and Robert Miller of Glasgow, Scotland. The funeral was held Monday afternoon and was largely attended, the Rev. C. C. Salisbury officiating. Burial was in the Andersonville cemetery in Glover near her old home.
