    Mrs. Thomas Wilson died at her home in this city on Friday of last week, January 24, 1908, after an illness of several weeks. Funeral services were held from her late residence on Monday, conducted by Rev. Edwin B. Dean, and the interment was in Oaklawn. Ann Greaves was born at Smith Falls, Ontario, August 7, 1846, where she lived until the spring of 1850, when the family moved to Ohio. In 1856 the family came to Minnesota and settled on a farm south of Cannon Falls, where she spent her early years. She secured her education in the local district schools and at Hamline university, then located at Red Wing. Her early womanhood was spent in teaching in Rice and Goodhue counties. She was married to Thomas Wilson in November, 1884. They lived on their farm near Stanton the first two years of their married life, then moved to Northfield, making this city their home since that time. Her husband died in December, 1905. She became a member of the Methodist Episcopal church early in life and was an exemplary member of that church until her marriage, when she united with the Congregational church. She is survived by four brothers, John C. and H. L. Greaves of this city, J. J. Greaves of Glencoe and G W. Greaves of Spencer, Iowa, all of whom were present at her funeral, also the following named members of her family: Dr. and Mrs. H. C. Wilson and family of this city, Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Wilson of Minneapolis, Rev. and Mrs. J. W. Wilson of Lake Geneva, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. E. Y. Wilson of Brewster, Minn., and Miss Elizabeth Wilson of St. Louis, Mo.

    Anna married Thomas Wilson in 1884. Thomas was born in 1831 in St. Lawrence County, New York, United States; died on 18 Dec 1905 in Rice County, Minnesota, United States; was buried in Oaklawn Cemetery, Northfield, Rice County, Minnesota, United States. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
