    The North Temple Baptist Church of Dallas was the setting recently for the wedding of Miss Annie Laurie Vardaman and Robert Thomas Miller.

    Mrs. Daisy Vardaman of Dallas and Mrs. F. J. Miller of Winnsboro, are mothers of the couple. Dr. W. R. White, president of Baylor University, was the officiant at the double-ring ceremony, Miss Jean Wallis, organist, and Miss Ellen Moody, vocalist, presented the nuptial music.

    The bride was given in marriage by her brothers, E. Jerry Vardaman "and James W. Vardaman. She wore a pale pink slipper satin gown designed with a set-in yoke of Chantilly lace. The neckline and elongated bodice were scalloped. The petal-point sleeves were fastened with self-covered buttons and the bouffant skirt formed a semiformal train. The bridal fingertip veil of nylon illusion was caught to a satin melon cap quilted with seed pearls and clusters of deeper pink forget-me-nots. She carried a Bible topped with sweetheart roses and pink satin streamers knotted with stephanotis.

    Miss Betty Jane Sullivan was maid of honor and Kayana Sullivan was flower girl. The bride groom was attended by Howard V. Petty as best man. Robert O. Coleman and Richard Bacon were ushers and candlelighters.

    During the reception held at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. A. P. Cage registered tne guests. Mrs. J. Leroy Ballard cut the cake and Mrs. Petty served punch. For a wedding trip to New Orleans, the bride chose a navy blue suit, navy and white accessories and a corsage of sweetheart roses. She was graduated from North Dallas High School and Baylor University, where she was a member of Sigma Tau Delta, Alpha Chi and Kappa Delta Pi.

    The bridegroom received his bachelor of Arts and Master's degrees at Baylor and belonged to Alpha Chi. He is taking graduate work at the University of Texas. Mr. and Mrs. Miller will live in Austin. Among the out-of-town guests were Dr. and Mrs. A. P. Cagle, Miss Marie Cagle, Thomas L. Ware and Miss Lillie Louise Martin, all of Waco; the Rev. and Mrs. Albert M. Brown, Eagle Lake; Mr. and Mrs. J. Leroy Ballard, Brownwood; Mrs. Miller, Mr. and Mrs. O. E. Moore, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Majors and Lowell Miller, all of Winnsboro. M.D.
