Passed away peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital, in her 90th year, on Sunday, August 26, 2012. Dorothy Ashby, predeceased by her beloved husband, William George (Bill) Ashby. Dear mother of Carol and Randy Scott of Westport; Barbara and Brian Wagg of Brockville; and Barry and Kirsty Ashby of Cookstown. Dear grandmother of Dr. Jeffrey Wagg, Dr. Allison Wagg (Andrew Shantz) and Dr. Ian Wagg (Dr. Anila Mathai). Survived by her brother, Ken Partis (Marie) and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister, Mildred Walker. Visitation will be held at JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME (1900 John Counter Boulevard) on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm and on Thursday, August 30 from 12:00pm to 12:45pm. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday at 1:00pm. Interment to be held at Cataraqui Cemetery, reception to follow at the James Reid Reception Center. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations to Kingston Humane Society or the charity of your choice in Dorothy's memory would be appreciated by the family.
