    Peacefully entered into rest with family by his side, on Thursday October 25, 2018 at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre. James Richard Cotie of Brockville age 52 years. Beloved husband of Karen (Armstrong) Cotie, loving father of Jade and Evan. James is survived by his brother John (Tammy), nephews Harper and Emerson, his mother-in-law Donna Armstrong, sister-in-law Shannon Shannon (Mike), uncle Allan Loney and his many friends. Lovingly remembered by special family friends Phillip and Tana Gilbert and family. Predeceased by his parents Dave and Bea (Whittle) Cotie, father-in-law Richard Armstrong and sister-in-law Kimberly Armstrong. Family and friends may pay their respects at the BARCLAY FUNERAL HOME, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 2-4pm & 6-8 p.m. The Celebration of James's Life will be held in the Chapel on Friday November 2, 2018 at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at Oakland Cemetery, at a later date. In memory of James, donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada would be gratefully appreciated by family.

James David Austin Cotie, longtime resident of Brockville, age 75 years. Beloved husband and dear friend of 53 years to Bernice (Whittle) Cotie. Dear father of John Cotie (Tammy) of Brockville and James Cotie (Karen) of Elizabethtown. Loving grandfather of Harper, Emerson, Jade and Evan. Beloved wife and dear friend of 53 years to the late David Cotie. Loving mother of John Cotie (Tammy) of Brockville and James Cotie (Karen) of Elizabethtown. Cherished grandmother of Harper, Emerson, Jade and Evan. Lovingly remembered as "Aunt Bea" to Phillip, Tana, Tyla and Haley Gilbert. Dear sister of Luella Charbot of Iroquois, Kate Runions of Kitchener, Barbara Graham (Grant) of Cornwall and Lynne Jones (Winston) of Brockville, and aunt to several nieces and nephews. Also survived by dear friends Doug (Judy), Don and Brenda Beattie, and their families. Predeceased by her parents Richard and Martha (Roberts) Whittle.

    Family and friends will be received at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday June 6th, 2013 at a time to be determined.     Peacefully at the Bonnechere Manor in Renfrew Ontario on Monday evening. Mary Cotie formerly of Arnprior in her 103rd year. Wife of the late Alfred Cotie. Beloved mother of David (Bernice), Mary (Burton) Borthwick, Anne (Stephen) Dixon and Helen (John) Shea. Grandmother of John (Tammy), James (Karen), Jeffrey (Valerie), Ann Marie (Bryan) and 6 great grandchildren. Predeceased by siblings David, Archie, Margaret and Florence. Her family wish to thank the caregivers at Bonnechere Manor, our mother's home for many years, for their excellent and devoted care. Thanks also to Dr. Dick and Dr. DiPaolo, her valued physicians during these years. Arrangements by the BOYCE FUNERAL HOME LTD., 138 Daniel St. N., Arnprior. A private family service will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2011 at 3 p.m. in the family plot in Arnprior Albert Street Cemetery.
