    OUTLOOK (Special)
    St. Andrews United church in Outlook was the scene of a double-ring ceremony Aug. 8 when Miss Shirley Davison of Regina, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Davison of Outlook, became the bride of Ross Kaley of Regina, son of Mrs. Mabel Kaley and the late Mr, Kaley. Rev. D. Chricton officiated Organist was Mrs. E. Pederson

    Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a full-length gown of nylon net and lace over white taffeta. The dress featured lily-point sleeves and a fitted lace bodice with a Peter Pan collar trlmmed with mother-of-pearl sequins. The bouffant skirt was enhanced by a lace peplum. Her elbow-length veil of pure silk Illusion was etched with lace and misted from a Grecian style teardrop coronet. White satin streamers of lovers knots and cornflowers fell from her cascade bouquet of cornflowers and white shasta mums. The bride was attended by Mrs. Ellwood Davison, Miss Ollie Holliday and Miss Jancie Davison, the niece of the bride who acted as flower girl. Best man was Ellwood Davison. Ushers were Court Peddle and John Davison, nephews of the bride.

    A reception was held in the church parlors. Charles Marshall proposed the toast to the bride and Bruce Davison acted as master of ceremonies. Miss Dorothy Keith looked after the guest register. Following a wedding trip to Waskesiu, Mr .and Mrs. Kaley will reside in Regina.

    Mr. John Cox Davison passed away in Outlook Hospital, July 20, 1978, at age 95. Funeral service was held July 22, from Outlook United Church, Rev K officiating. Masonic Rites were conducted by Outlook Lodge No. 65. Interment in Outlook Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers and active pallbearers were 12 of his grand- children: John, Bob, Brian, Bruce, and Ken Davison; Court and Donald Peddle; Gordon, Phillip and David Marshall; Tracy and Sharon Kaley. Surviving are his wife, Laura,two sons - Bruce of Outlook, Ellwood of Victoria; three daughters, Marian Peddle of Regina; Eileen Marshall of Winnipeg; Shirley Kaley of Edmonton; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

    Born In London, England, April 19, 1883, Mr. Davison attended school in England and Camden East, Ontario, where he came in 1896; worked as a railway telegrapher from 1904 - 1948 in Ontario with Bay of Quinte Railway and later the Canadian Pacific Railway.

    On October 4, 1911, he married Laura B. Galbraith of Colebrooke, Ontario at Cupar. They also resided in Wilkie, Asuith, Saltcoats and Rouleau, Sask., moving to Outlook In 1937.

    He was active in community affairs in each town. On retlrement from the CPR he was secretary-treasurer of Outlook Union Hospital until 1962. Mr. Davison was a life member of Outlook Lodge No. 65, A.F. and A.M.; llfe member of Delta Chapter No. 32 Royal Arch Masons; life member of Saskatchewan Perceptory No. 55 K.T.K.M. In 1951 he served as D.D.G.M. of District 17. As well he was a life member of Eastern Star No. 54 and member of Wa Wa Temple. Outlook Funeral Chapel was In charge of arrangements.

    DEATH NOTICE DAVISON
    Laura Blanche Davison, age 100 years and eight months, widow of John Cox Davison, passed away peacefully Friday, October 28, at the Outlook Pioneer Home. Laura was born February 29, 1888 In Colebrooke, Ontario to Robert and Celia Galbraith. She received her education there and was organist at the local church. She came west to Cupar, Sask. in October, 1911 to be married. The late Mr. Davison was a C.P.R. agent and the family have resided also in Wilkie, Asquith, Saltcoats, Rouleau, moving to Outlook in October, 1937.

    She was predeceased by her husband in 1978, a daughter-in-law, a son-in-law and three brothers. Laura is fondly remembered by her three daughters: Marian (Ron) Peddle of Regina, Eileen (Charles) Marshall of Winnipeg, Man.. Shirley Kaley of Edmonton; two sons: Bruce (Betty) Davison of Outlook, Ellwood (Jean) Davison of Victoria, B.C.; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; her sister, Mrs. Violet Fleming of Toronto, Ont.; her sister-in-law, Mrs. Julia Galbraith of Beeton, Ont. and numerous nieces and nephews.

    Laura enjoyed handcrafts and won many awards at local and provincial exhibitions. She was active in local organizations and held life memberships In The Order Of The Eastern Star Chapter No. 54, The United Church Women's Auxiliary, The Red Cross, The Auxiliary of the Canadian Legion and The Rebecca Lodge.

    Funeral service will be conducted bv Rev. Yvonne Jordan in the St. Andrew's United Church In Outlook, Sask., Wednesday, November 2, 1988 at 3:00 p.m. Interment wilt be in the Outlook Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Arrangements are in care of The Outlook Funeral Chapel.
