BARBER, Patricia Ann (McPhail) - After a long battle with Cancer, Patricia Ann Barber passed away, with her family by her side, on August 16, 2016 in Brampton, Ontario at the age of 60. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 39 years, Michael Barber, and their daughter Kandy Martella. Patricia was born on December 28, 1955 in Simcoe, Ontario to Hugh and Nina McPhail, who predeceased her. She was the oldest of 3 siblings, leaving behind sister Donna and brother Ed. She will be greatly missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Kandy and Corey Martella; grandchildren Liam and Logan Martella; Brother-in-law Waverley (Imelda) Barber; Brother-in-law Dan (Patty) Davenport; nieces Carlie and Teagan Davenport. Patricia loved her job, gardening and spending time on the houseboat fishing with her husband. She was very lighthearted and was always up for a good laugh. She remained a brave and iron-willed woman, even throughout her final days. Visitation and Memorial Service will take place at Brampton Crematorium and Visitation Centre on Tuesday, August 23rd at 6-7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lymphoma Canada.

A double wedding was performed Saturday morning at the Baptiat parsonant where Rev Archie Forsyth united in marriage Margaret Maxine Underhill daughter of Mr and Mrs John Underhill to Mr Hugh McPhail son of Mr and Mrs Arthur McPhail
and
Miss Jean McPhail daughter of Mr and Mr Arthur McPhail to Mr John Horton son of Mr and Mrs George Horton, all of St Williams.

Both brides wore floor-length gowns of pale blue sheer over satln and their flowers were pink roses. Each couple acted as attendants for the other couple Following the honeymoon Mr and Mr MacPhail and Mr and Mrs Horton will resida in South Walsingham.
