James, a son of Moses Paul and Sarah McAulay, both born Belfast, Northern Ireland.

He was the husband of the former Annie McMullen who predeceased him c. one year ago. Survived by sons Robert Paul of Lomond, Alberta; William Paul, Edmonton; Moses Paul, Peace River district; James Paul, Ramsay; Joseph Paul, Poland, Ont. and a daughter, Mrs W.J. Wrathall, Perth. One sister also survives, Mrs. John Campbell, Omer, Michigan.

James married Annie McMullen in 1859. Annie was born in 1840 in Glasgow (Central District), Lanarkshire, Scotland; died on 1 Feb 1925 in Ontario, Canada; was buried in White Cemetery, Poland, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
