Husband of Laura Buffam, father of Mrs. Dorothy lLane of North Hibbing, Minn., Clarence, William Ruth, and Jane Buffam, all of Multnomah; brother of Mres Mary Burroughs of Salem, John McMillian of Salem and William McMillan of Winside, Hebraska. Funeral services were held Monday, June 3, at 10 am from the chapel of Edward Holman and Son, Interment in Vancouver cemetery, Vancouver, Wash.

    Funeral services were held Sunday at the Smith funeral chapel for Mrs. Margaret McMillan, who died December 14 at Portland. Margaret McCole was born June 14, 1849, in the county of Kerry, Ireland and came to America as a child with her parents, settling in the east. In 1871 she was married to William Buffan who died in 1886. She was married to William McMillan March 12, 1888.
    Surviving children are: Mrs Mary Burroughs, Salem; Edwin Buffam and John McMillan, Independence3; James and William Buffam, Brunskick, Nebraska. Mr McMillian died November 21, 1903. Mrs. McMillan came to Oregon September 15, 1900, and has lived most of the time since at Portland and in Monmouth. Burial was in Knights of Pythaias cemetery south of Monmouth, with the Rev H. Charles Dunsmore of Independence officiating.
