Marion Florence Howison of Brockville in her 104th. year. Beloved sister of Helen M. Howison of Brockville. Daughter of the late George Charles Howison and his wife Florence Harriett Gibbins Howison. Survived by several nieces and nephews, including George Howison of Brockville, Rosemary Purdy of London, John Howison and his wife Anne of Brockville, Judy Johnston and her husband Dick of Rockport, Sharron Vander Meer of Brockville and Florence Bolton and her husband Wayne of Hamilton. Also survived by very dear friends Val and Dr. Don Smylie and Gerry Northrup, all of Brockville. Predeceased by brothers Gibbins, Gordon, Arthur, Harold and John Howison, a sister Edyth Howison and sisters-in-law Opal and Iva Howison.

Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street, East, Brockville on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, July 28th. 2006 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery. He was a native of Smiths Falls and one of the founders of St. Paul's Anglican Church. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters and one son: Mrs. George C. In the death at his residence last evening of Thomas Gibblns, Brockvllle loses one of its oldest and highly esteemed citizens. Bom in Smiths Falls on November 14, 1851, the late Mr. Gibbins was in his 86th year. He was a
son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Gibblns. natives of England, and a carpenter by trade. He had resided In Brockvllle for more than 63 years and for 40 years of that time was a foreman In the Rathburn Lumber Company and Brockvllle Lumber Corporation plants here.
The late Mr. Gibblns was one of the founders and original members of St. Paul's Anglican church and a member of the executive committee since the church was started. He had also been a member of the town council several years ago. Besides his wife, the former Jane Susannah Ferrier of Perth, he is survived by two daughters and one son. They are: Mrs. George C. Howison, Brockville; Mrs. Margaret Elliott. Ottawa, and Walter B. Gibblns, East Orange, N.J.

Died; Mar 26, 1948 Mrs. Jane Gibbins passed away on Friday. Native of Perth was very active despite the advanced age of 91.
Mrs Jane Susan Gibbins in her 92nd year passed away very suddenly Friday Morning at 17 John St, the home of Miss Anna Irvine, where she had resided. She was born at Perth July 7, 1856, the daughter of John Ferrier of Kenteleen, Scotland and his wife the former Sussanah Lawson of Glasgow Scotland.
She was married in Perth to the late Thomas Gibbins who predeceased her on April 20, 1937. A resident of Brockville for about 77 years, who was very active despite her advanced years and up and about all winter long being down town Thursday. She was in the process of dressing when taken by a heart seizure Friday morning. She was the oldest and one of the original members of St. Pauls Anglican church and was very active in all organizations of the church up until the last. She was very well know in Brockville and was highly respected by a wide circle of friends.
The last of her family, she leaves to mourn her loss one daughter, Mrs. Margaret Elliott of Ottawa, 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The remains will rest at the G. W. Paul funeral parlour until Monday afternoon when the service will be conducted in St. Pauls church at 2o'clock. Internment will be made in Oakland cemetery (Brockville Recorder & Times Issue March 27, top right, Page 1),
