On Wednesday afternoon at the residence of the bride'a parents, Mr and Mrs Alex Gow, Waterloo street, Mount Forest, their youngest daughter Mary Stewart was married to Mr Evan Thomas McDonald of Owen Sound and formerly of Mount Forest. Rev W.G. Hanna of Westminister church assisted by Rev. Geo. Hendell, of Conn, performed the ceremony.

While her niece Miss Hilda Pennock played Mendelssohn's wedding march, the bride was led in on the arm of her father and looked sweet and winsome in her gown ot 'cream eolienne over cream silk, trimmed with point lace and carrying a bouquet of cream.

Her travelling dress wss of bronze chiffon broadcloth with hat to match of bronze velvet with mink and fruit trimmings. Miss Gertrude King sang the wedding hymn.

Afterwants the party of about forty guests, relatives and intimate friends of the parties, sat down to a recherche wedding dinner, the decorations being a color scheme of white and green, with carnations and sinilax.

The happy couple took the evening train for a trip to Toronto, Hamilton, and Niagara. Both Mr. and Mrs. McDonald are well known and popular here. The bride is one of our sweetest vocalists, and has ever been willing to use her talents in aid of any good cause. She was the recipient of a large number of handtome presents among which was a very fine china cabinet, suitably inscribed, from Westminister church, of the choir of which she was a leading member and a Bible from the Sabbath School in which she had been a teacher for a number of years, also gifts of silver, cut glass, and china from friends. The best wishes of the numerous friends of both bride and groom for their future happiness and prosperity follow them to their future I home in Owen Sound.
