    John "Jack" David Adams passed away at the Regional Hospital in Campbellton, NB on March 22, 2016 at the age of 88.

    Jack is survived by his wife Betty Cook and 3 sons; Jim (Sally), Bryce (Jean), Donald (Irene) and 4 daughters; Karen (Burns), Janice (Fernand), Helen and Kim (Brock). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his 1st wife Audrey, daughter Carolyn Dawn, sons Frankie and John, as well as grandson Ryan.

    Special thanks to staff at palliative care and Dr. Delbe Robichaud.

    The funeral service will be held at Maher's Funeral Chapel, 64 Lansdowne St., Campbellton, Saturday at 2:00 pm.

    The death of Mrs.Audrey Gloria Adams of Glen Livit occurred on Saturday, Jan. 10th, at her home. She was 51.

    Born in Glen Levit on May 19, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Arnold and Janie (Hennigar) Pollock.

    She was a member of the United Church and the United Church Women. She was also a member of the ladies auxiliary and was active in dart competition.

    Surviving are her husband: John David Adams; four daughters: Karen Johnson of Squaw Cap, Janice LeBel of Mann's Mountain, Helen and Kim, both at home; four sons: Jim of Saskatoon, Bryce of Squaw Cap, Donald of Ottawa and John, at home, four sisters: Isabel of New York, Doreen of Victoria, Beverly-Ann of New York and Betty St. Onge of Dalhousie and one brother: Roy of Sechelt, B.C.

    Pallbearers were Jim Adams, Jim Johnson, Tom Blanchette, Rupert Lutes, Reg Pollock and Lorne Irvine. Interment was in the Glen Levit Cemetery

    A pioneer of the Restigouche County lumber woods passed away at Soldiers Memorial Hospital here in the person of Simon Pollock, at the age of 70 years. He had been in failing health for some months and his death followed an operation performed several weeks ago, when he had been brought to Campbellton form his home at Glen Levit.

    Born in this district, Mr. Pollock had spent his life as a lumberman in winter and during the summer seasons had been connected with the Riparian Association form many years as a guide on the Restigouche salmon waters. He was a general favorite among residents of this country and was highly regarded by hundreds of visiting sportsmen who come here annually from points in the United States and Upper Canada.

    The funeral was held this afternoon from his home in Glencoe, with internment in the United Church cemetery at Flatlands. Many friends attended the obsequies.

    Wife of Simon Pollock
    The death of Mrs. Nellie Pollock of Glen Levit, which occurred on Tuesday morning last at the home of her daughter, Mr.s John Lutes, Campbellton has been learned with much regret by many friends and relatives.

    The late Mr.s Pollock was in her 73rd year. Her husband pre-deceased her fourteen years ago. She is survived by three sons, James F., Glen Levit; Scott and Arnold of Sechelt, B.C.; three daughters, Mrs. John Lutes (Jessie), Campbellton, Mrs. William Myles (Jean), Tidehead and Miss Venie at home. Two sisters, Mrs. Kierstead (Margaret), Glen Levit, Mrs. Irvine (Bella) of Flatlands and one brother, Charles of Glen Levit also survive as well as a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

    The largely attended funeral was held on Thursday afternoon at two o'clock from the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Lutes, Campbelton. Rev. W.F. Thomas conducted the service assisted by Rev. A. C. Crowe. Internment was in the Flatlands cemetery.

    The pallbearers were Jack Allison, Jack Adams, Rupert Lutes, Reggie Pollock, Wesley and Charles Kierstead.
