    ROBERT ROY ALFORD Funeral service was held July 30 in the chapel of Henderson's Funeral Home for Robert Roy Alford, 9410 Windsor Street, who died July 27 in the MSA Hospital in Abbotsford. Officiating minister was Mr. Calvin Casselman. Mr. Alford was born at Oak Lake, Manitoba on September 27, 1891. Formerly of Hartney, Manitoba, he lived in this area since 1969. He was a retired farm
    equipment and automotive dealer. Mr. Alford is survived by his wife, Alice; two daughters, Lorraine (Mrs. Arthur) Hart-vikson of Sardis and Arden (Mrs. Dave) Stephens of Almagordo, New Mexico; four sons, Allan of Kelowna, Dr. Malcolm Alford of Abbotsford, Charles of Sardis and Terry of Victoria; 14 grandchildren; one sister, Anne (Mrs. George) Bennett of Saskatoon; two brothers, Lawrence of Eugene, Oregon and William of Santa Barbara, California. Pallbearers at the service were Allan Alford, Dr. Malcolm Alford, Charles Alford, Terry Alford, Arthur Hartvikson and Jim Wilson. Burial followed at Odd Fellows Cemetery.
