    Jane McManagle was born 16 Feb 1804 in Greenock, Renfrew, Scotland to John McManagle and Elizabeth Blair. (information from parish records) When she was about 3 years old the family moved to Glasgow, Scotland. In 1820 she immigrated with her family from Glasgow to Ontario Canada on the "Brock".

    She married Nathaniel Stoddard and had 4 sons, Arvin Mitchell, Sheldon, John Rufus and Albert Leonard. Nathaniel Stoddard died in 1834 and she married Arza Judd Jr. (a widower with 6 children) and together they had one child, Samuel in 1837, who died the same year.
