    Access:
    From Highway 401, take Liberty Street north through Bowmanville for about 7 miles, to Concession Road 6, (one road north of Taunton Road.) Turn right onto Concession Road 6 and continue for 2 side roads. Bethesda Cemetery is at this crossroads.

    What you will find:
    A small funeral chapel is located on the grounds of this cemetery. This is a well kept cemetery with most of the original stones still intact. There is limited parking in front of the chapel, however, there is a rear driveway off Concession Road 6 with further parking.

    Mrs. Piggott holds the old cemetery records for Bethesda, and if available, will gladly look-up the book for you. Unfortunately, a fire destroyed many early records and not all burials are in the "new" book which dates from the late 1890's, though she has been trying to reconstruct the entries whenever an old document comes to light. The location of graves is known, but not the name of the occupant.
