    Married:
Norwood United Church Scene Of Pretty Double-Ring Bridal

Rev. W. T. Young officiated at a pretty double-ring bridal in Norwood United Church at the weekend when Miss Pansy Timinski was united in marriage with Mr. Lawrence Edward Ferrier. Mixed bouquets of snapdragons, peonies and fern banked the church altar for the occasion. Guest pews were marked with clusters of white sweet peas.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. John Timinski of Edmonton and the late Mr. Timinski. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Ferrier of Vancouver. Given in marriage by her mother, the bride chose a gown of Chantilly lace and shirred nylon net featuring a lace redingote fashioned with lily-point sleeves. A coronet of seed pearls and rhine-stones held in place her fingertip veil of misty illusion and she wore as her jewelry a single strand of pearls with pearl and rhinestone earrings. She .carried a bouquet of orchids, chrysanthemums, steph-anotis, sweetpeas and heather.

Mrs. Rae Ferrier was matron of honor and the Misses Margaret McDonald, Helen Misquelon and Mary Lou Parcels were bridesmaids. The attendants wore similarly-fashioned jacket frocks of snowy white satin and nylon tulle. Coronets of white satin flowers and leaves adorned their heads and each carried a bouquet of pansies, white chrysanthemums, yellow roses and sweet peas, tied with yellow ribbons garlanded with pansy blossoms.

The groom was attended by Mr. Stanley Ferrier, Mr. George Timinski, Mr. Walter Kopinsky. and Mr. John Timinski. Ushers were Mr. Reginald Hoare and Mr. John Kopinsky. During the signing of the register Mrs. Sadie Mcintosh sang "The Lord's Prayer" and "Through the 'Years," accompanied by Mr. E. M. Bonner.

For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Timinski chose a gown of champagne lace over satin fashioned with a bouffant skirt. A gold coronet and gold slippers completed her ensemble and she wore a gardenia and Talisman roses en corsage. At a reception held later in the Masonic Temple, the bride's table, laid with an ivory lace cloth, was centred with a triple-tiered cake topped with a miniature bride and groom. White tulle sprinkled with rose petals encircled the cake, which was flanked by slender white tapers set in crystal candelabra. Assisting in serving were Mrs. H. Mount. Miss Dorothy Bannister, Miss Pearl Brado. Miss Janet Ferrier and Miss Nadine Ayre. Mr. R. Mount proposed a toast to the bride.

For a honeymoon to the Pacific Coast, the bride changed to a white linen suit with a white flowered hat and matching accessories. Pinned at her shoulder was an orchid corsage. Mr. and Mrs. Ferrier will make their home in the city.
