    STEELE, Ruth F. Peacefully at Perth Community Care Centre, on Thursday, August 29, 2002, Ruth Francis Killingbeck in her 75th year. Beloved wife of Herbert Steele. Loved mother of Frances Gemmill of Regina. Predeceased by infant daughter Deborah. Much loved sister of Iva Schnarr, Jewel Morrow, Emerson (Fern) Killingbeck, Kent (Pearl) Killingbeck, Annette (Colional) St. Pierre, Daphne (Ned) Gardinar, Denzel (Evelyn) Killingbeck, Danny (Linda) Killingbeck, Brent (Yvonne) Killingbeck and Rae (Garnet) Peters and the late Bonnie (Jack) Tysic. Friends may pay their respects at the Perth & District Funeral Home Chapel and Reception Centre 15 Victoria Street, Perth, on Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, August 31, 2002 at 3 p.m. Interment Highland Line Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer Society or Snow Road Presbyterian Church would be appreciated by the family.

    Gerald and his daughter, Deborah, parished in a house fire near Mississippi Station in the early hours of March 5,1952. Gerald was overcome with smoke trying to save his daughter. Gerald's wife and son were able to escape from a second story window. Gerald's wife was Frances Ruth Killingbeck.

    Mrs. Andrew Gemmill : Elizabeth Ferguson was born in Dalhousie on Feb.27th,1844, and married in 1869 to Andrew Gemmill, who died in 1914. They had a family of nine children, seven of whom survive; Mary (Mrs. James Cross) and Martha (Mrs. Frank George), both of Calgary; Robert of Reston, MB; John and David of Snow Road; William of McDonald's Corners; and Lorne of Watson's Corners. Agnes (Mrs. James Richards) and an infant girl, are both deceased, Burial in Crawford's Cemetery.
