    GEMMILL, J. Stanley Passed away in Perth on Wednesday, November 8th, 2006 J. Stanley Gemmill at the age of 81. Beloved husband for 57 years of Margaret A. (Stiller) Gemmill. Loved father of Janet (Wayne) Throop and their family Patrick (Stephanie) and Jesse Throop, John (Karen) and their family Jordan, Carson, Taylor & Whitney Gemmill and Jeffrey (Yvonne) and their family Adam, Nicholas and Allison Gemmill. Dear brother of Laura McDougald and the late Doris Armstrong, Marion Barr, Eldred, George, Elmer and Gerald Gemmill; he was the son of the late David and Marion (Fair) Gemmill. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W. Perth on Friday, November 10th, 2006 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 1:00 P.M. Interment, Crawford's Cemetery, Elphin. In remembrance, contributions to the Parkinson Society or the Elphin Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.

    GEMMILL, Margaret A. On Friday, July 1st, 2011, peacefully and with dignity at her home in Perth, surrounded by the love of her family at the age of 86 years. Margaret was predeceased by her beloved husband J. Stanley Gemmill and grandson Patrick Throop. She was the cherished mother of Janet (Wayne) Throop, John (Karen) Gemmill and Jeffrey (Yvonne) Gemmill. Devoted Grandma to Jordan, Carson, Taylor and Whitney Gemmill and Adam, Nicholas and Allison Gemmill; "Gee Gee" to Jesse and Jordyn Throop. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St., W., Perth, Ontario on Monday, July 4th, 2011 from 2:00 to 5:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Service will be held in the Elphin Presbyterian Church on Tuesday at 10:30 A.M. Interment Crawford Cemetery. In remembrance contributions to the Elphin Presbyterian Church or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

    Mrs. Andrew Gemmill : Elizabeth Ferguson was born in Dalhousie on Feb.27th,1844, and married in 1869 to Andrew Gemmill, who died in 1914. They had a family of nine children, seven of whom survive; Mary (Mrs. James Cross) and Martha (Mrs. Frank George), both of Calgary; Robert of Reston, MB; John and David of Snow Road; William of McDonald's Corners; and Lorne of Watson's Corners. Agnes (Mrs. James Richards) and an infant girl, are both deceased, Burial in Crawford's Cemetery.
