On Thursday, November 2, 1989 Mr. Russell Lloyd Ashby of Cold Lake passed away at the age of 62 years. Me is survived by his wife, Bertha of Cold Lake; one son, Russell of Edmonton; one daughter, Roberta of Grand Centre; two brothers, Glen and wife Margaret Graham of Barrhead, Jim and wife Shirley Ashby of Camp Creek, Alberta; three sisters, Mae Fleury of Edmonton, Margaret Pallite of Vancouver, B.C., Thelma and husband Tom Ehl of Timeu, Alberta; numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father, John Russell Ashby; his mother, Dora Ashby; one sister, Mary Barnhard. Funeral service will be conducted on Monday, November 6, 1989 at 2:00 p.m. from the Cold Lake Legion Hall with Pastor Tom Fehr officiating and interment will follow in the Lakeview Cemetery at Cold Lake. Donations to the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements are in care of Memento Funeral Chapel (1975) Ltd. of Bonnyville, Grand Centre and Glendon.

On October 12, 1987 Mrs. Dora Ashby of Barrhead passed away at the age of 87 years. She is survived by 3 sons and 3 daughters. Glen and his wife Margaret of Timeu. Lloyd and his wife Bertha of Cold Lake. Jim and h is wife Shirley of Camp Creek. Mae Fleury.

Funeral Services were held Friday October 16 at 11am at the Timeu Hall. Reverend David Pype officiated with interment in the Doris Cemetery.
In lieu of tributes, donations to the Alberta Heart Fund or to the Canadian Cancer Society will be appreciated.
