    Surrounded by the love of her family, in hospital in Perth on Saturday, May 19th, 2012 Edna M. (Farnel) Lamarche (Registered Nurse - following over 30 years dedicated service to the Great War Memorial Hospital, Perth) at the age of 79 years. Edna was predeceased by her mother Myrtle (Purdon) Farnel, her father Wesley Farnel and her step-mother Marjorie (Gibson) Farnel, her husband Gerald F. Murphy and her son John Murphy. Beloved wife of Dorion E. Lamarche; dearly loved mother of Frank Murphy, Mary Jane (Jeff) Lee, Sally-Anne (Don) Morse and stepmother of Edward Lamarche. Cherished grandmother to Brayden Murphy and Taunya (Alex) Coomb; Murray and Wesley Lee and Rebecca, Hillary and Heather Morse. Dear sister of Donald (Joan) Farnel. Edna will be remembered by all her family, her co-workers and many friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home,15 Gore St. W. Perth on Tuesday, May 22nd, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John's Church, Perth on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. Interment, St. John's Parish Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to the Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation or St. John's Roman Catholic Church, Perth would be appreciated.

    Suddenly at his home in Perth, on Wednes-day, February 3 1993 George Wesley Farnel, in his 87th year, beloved husband of' Marjorie Gibson and by first marriage the late Myrtle Purdon Sadly missed by Edna (Dorian) Lamarche of Rideau Ferry, and her children, Frank, Mary Jane, Sally Anne and the late John Murphy, son, Donald Farnel of St. Catharine's, and his children, Sheila, Shirley, and Brenda.

    Predeceased by son-in-law, Gerald Murphy Brother of Edna McNaughton of Carleton Place, and Eleanor Rutherford of Deltona, Florida Pre-deceased by his brothers, Bert, Clayton and Bill Farnel and sister, Lizzie Bell.

    Also sur-vived by eight great-grandchildren, two sis-ters-in-law, Dorothy and Jennie Farnel of Perth, and brother-in-law, Jack Gibson of Nepean.

    Friends may call at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth, Friday, from 2:30 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted on St. James Anglican Church on Saturday, at 1:30 p.m. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.
