    Ron passed away suddenly but peacefully in hospital, Carleton Place on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn Irvine. Loved father of Sandy (Gary) Errett and Kathy Irvine. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Chelsea (Josh Richardson) and Casey (Jason Bennett) and his great-grandson Wyatt. Fondly remembered by the Jordan family, nieces, nephews, extended family and many good friends. Ron had a long and rewarding career as a conductor with CP Rail. He enjoyed golfing, being a sports fan but in particular enjoying the Ottawa Redblacks games and of course spending time at "Ronnie's Camp". He will be sadly missed but forever loved. Family and friends are invited to gather for the funeral service in celebration of Ron's life to be held at "Ronnie's Camp" 9670 Highway 15, Franktown on Thursday May 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Franktown Cemetery. A reception will follow at Centennial Hall Franktown. In memory of Ron, donations to Cystic Fibrosis or the Carleton Place and District Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.

Lena (daughter of George Edwin Jordan and Charlotte "Lottie" Isobel Keays) was born on 18 Dec 1936 in Bathurst Twp, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada; died on 2 Oct 2005 in Smiths Falls, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada; was buried in Franktown Public Cemetery, Franktown, Beckwith Twp, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada.     IRVINE, Evelyn Peacefully, at her residence, Franktown, on Sunday, October 2, 2005 Evelyn (Jordan) Irvine in her 69th year. Beloved wife of 46 years of Ron Irvine. Loved mother of Sandy (Gary) Errett and Kathy Irvine all of Franktown. Very special Nana to Chelsea and Casey. Dear sister of Keith (Maxine) Jordan and Bill (Carmel) Jordan all of Perth and sister-in-law of Jean Jordan of Perth. Predeceased by her parents George and Lottie Jordan, her brother Don Jordan and sister Jean (the late Bob) Bell. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family and many good friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Tuesday, October 4th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Franktown Union Cemetery. In remembrance, contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation would be appreciated.
