    ?/i?I, Daniel Addams of Simsbury, do make this my last will and testament. I give to my wife Mary the management of my whole estate, both personal and real, for her maintenance during her natural life. And if need so require, she shall have power to sell and dispose of the same, or any part thereof. Nevertheless, if my sons shall provide comfortably for her such things as are necessary both in health and in sickness during her natural life, then the avove shall be void anad of non-effect. I give to my son Samuel half my meadowland on the west side of the river. I give the other half of my farm at Pease Marsh to my grandchildren Daniel, Abraham and James Addams, children of my son Daniel Addams, dead. I give to my son Benjamin that parcel of land on the east side of the mountain. I give to my sonJoseph the land where his now dwelling house stands, and half the north pasture and the land that belongs to it. I give to my son Thomas that parcel of land called the new field, 40 acres and upward, joining Richard Porter's land north, and south on land belonging yo Willcockson. Also that parcel of lanad called Matson's field, bounded north on John Robbins, east on John Cooke, west and south on Mr. Woodbridge. I give to my son Ephraim my house and homestead, alo that poece of land called Joshua's Field. I give to each of my three daughters an equal part of share of all my moveable estate (except team, tacking and gun) after one-third part therof is set out to my wife. I constitute my son Benjamin sole executor.
