    ?/i?William Workman Sr. was born in Prestwick, Aryshire, Scotland, 22 June 1822, came to New York at the age of twenty years; came to Ceresco in 1844 (within kWisconsin Phalanx) and lived here until 1868 when he moved to DePere and has remained ever since. He was a charter member of Ripon Lodge F&AM #95 in 1857 and of Ripon Chapter #30 RAM and of Fond du Lac Commandery. Burial here under the auspices of the Lodge. He leaves wife and son William and two daughters, Mrs David Thomas of Ripon and Mrs LS Wilcox of DePere. He sold his drug business at DePere two years ago and retired from active business although still identified with the DePere El L&P Company. He died at DePere WI 28 January 1900.
