    NEWELL Muriel P. Our precious Pansy passed away peacefully on Friday, June 21, 2002. Born in Cherapunji, India on February 3, 1917, she travelled to Canada with her family, landing in Victoria in 1928, where she resided until 1941. It was then that she moved to Mill Bay with her husband, Cliff, and together they raised their family of four. Muriel was predeceased by Cliff in 1984 and now will be lovingly remembered by her children, son, Raynor Newell (Linda) and daughters, Val Bjork (Jim), Gerl Wallace and Lynn Balding.

    She will also be greatly missed by her loving brother, Jack Martin (Lexie) and sisters, Edie Stewart (Geoff) and Nancy Linnell (John), her 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, as well as her many friends. Her passing will leave a huge void In each of our lives, Besides her parents, Bernard and Hilda Martin and her beloved husband Cliff, Muriel was predeceased by her brothers Pole Martin In 1956, Dick Martin In 1987 and sisters Gwen Cooper on 1967 and Connie Ralhbone in 2001 In tile Mum was very close to her lamily and was looking lorward to reuniting with Ihose who preceded her. A memorial service for Muriel will be held In the Duncan First Memorial Chapel on Brae Road on Friday, July 5 at 1 1 00 a.m. followed by a reception in the hall Instead of flower) her wish was lhal donations be made to the Oueen Alexandra Centie for Children's Health, 2400 Arbutus Road, Victoria. V8N 1V7
